I think it’s safe to assume that we all prefer to make our desserts from scratch. However sometimes we don’t have much time or we just want to try something new, which is how I discovered this recipe. It starts out with a simple cake mix, but it doesn’t finish there. I mean, there is peanut butter. And condensed milk. And chocolate, so much chocolate.
The fact that it’s so quick and simple is just an additional bonus.
Seriously, I tried this recipe because I was curious, but I didn’t expect much. I mean, cake mix? Come on. I’m so glad these bars proved me wrong! I’ve made them twice in the last couple of days and I won’t be stopping there.
I especially loved what’s happening in the middle there - so yummy. Try it and see for yourself 😉
