Some recipes are special. This one is one of my favorites not because of the taste (it is pretty rockin though), but because of how it looks.
I’m a huge geek, and I’m very proud of that. That’s why when I wanted to give chocolates as a gift to someone, I decided to shape them as miniature Darth Vaders. Because why not. (That tends to be the logic behind most of my decisions, too.)
If you don’t have such an awesome silicone mold, go with any other mold you have. The chocolates will still taste equally great, even though they might be slightly less menacing.
Chocolate Darth Vaders (homemade chocolates)
Ingredients:
- ½ tablespoon butter
- 3oz milk chocolate
- 3oz condensed milk
Preparation:
- Melt the butter along with chocolate. Once smooth, remove from heat and add in the condensed milk.
- Pour into prepared silicone molds and place in refrigerator until set, about 20 minutes.
Składniki:
- ½ łyżki masła
- 100 gram mlecznej czekolady
- 100 gram mleka skondensowanego
Przygotowanie:
- Rozpuść masło razem z czekoladą. Gdy masa zrobi się gładka, zdejmij garnek z ognia i dodaj mleko skondensowane.
- Przelej masę do przygotowanych silikonowych foremek i umieść w lodówce aż czekoladki stwardnieją, ok. 20 minut.
I have tons of silicone molds to make chocolates that I have been collecting a long time. They are fun because you can get just about any shape, holiday, birthday, sports and so on. Darth Vader is definitely very cool. Happy FF #46 and thanks for bringing these tasty bites to Angie’s party 🙂
