Hi. I’m excited about this one. 2014 has been a pretty good year for me. I’ve been blogging for a while now (8 months!), so I decided to take this opportunity and gather some of your favorite recipes this year. As the list of my own favorites is a bit different, first I’ll show you the top 10 most popular recipes, and then I’ll add 5 of my favs.
Let’s get to it, shall we?
10. Peanut Butter Oreo Blondies
This is one of the first recipes I posted. It makes me particularly happy that you enjoyed it, as these blondies are very special to me.
The name pretty much says it all. This cake is quick, easy, tasty, and apparently liked by you a lot.
These bars are a proof that happy accidents happen in my kitchen quite often. It’s one of these “let’s see what happens is…” type of recipes. It turned out great!
This is one of these recipes that are on a healthier side. I use coconut oil and yogurt, which results in a very tasty, delicate cake.
6. Blueberry Lemon Shortbread Crumble Bars
The taste of these bars is life-changing. Trust me. You need to make them right now.
5. Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Swirl Cookies
These are my favorite cookies ever. I’m glad they are so high on the list (I still think they should be even higher though!). You can never go wrong when you combine peanut butter and chocolate, don’t you agree?
4. Condensed Milk Chocolate Chip Blueberry Cookies
That’s another accident. I’d dare say another very happy one 😉
3. Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Cookies
You may have noticed that I’m a fan of “what would happen if..” approach to baking. These ones here are another proofs that it works.
2. Nutty Strawberry Date Dessert
This is the healthiest recipe I’ve ever made. I’m glad you enjoyed it so much!
1. Nutella Peanut Butter Mug Cake
Not gonna lie, the most popular recipe on my blog was a bit of a surprise. I suppose it means you guys are often in a hurry and need a bit of something tasty quick. Or late at night, maybe? 😉 Nevertheless, it’s still a good choice anyway.
As much as I appreciated your choices, I couldn’t help but notice that some of my favorite recipes were missing from the list. That’s why I decided to compile my own list of some of the things I enjoyed baking the most. Here is my top 5 for 2014.
5. Nutella Condensed Milk Cookie Bars
I am a sucker for both nutella and condensed milk. Putting them together results in a heavenly experience.
Just look at these. Now go and make them. Trust me.
These are another ones of my favorites. The honey makes all the difference.
2. Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars (made with cake mix!)
As much as I enjoy baking, sometimes a shortcut is welcome. That’s when these come in.
1. Giant Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie
This is the recipe that I make most often. It makes just one giant cookie, which is perfect when you don’t need too many cookies laying around. Doesn’t it look amazing though?
That’s it for today. I hope you will continue to enjoy my little culinary adventures. I sure will enjoy providing you with new recipes!
Oh wow everything looks so delicious! Thank you for sharing the recipes 🙂
