I know, I know. My first recipe of 2015 is a healthy one. Stay with me though.
This granola is wonderful and full of peanut butter flavor. It’s sweetened with honey, and I believe it’s sweet enough to actually treat it as a dessert. It lasted about three days in my home, and everyone kept snacking on it throughout, which means it was really good.
You can substitute or add your own ingredients, like other nuts or dried fruit. I know I will keep experimenting as well. This basis is perfect though.
Peanut Butter Granola
source: adapted from Cooking Classy
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 ½ cups old fashioned oats
- ¾ scup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup cashews
- 1 cup walnuts
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 325F.
- In a bowl, combine peanut butter and honey until smooth.
- In a separate, big bowl mix the rest of the ingredients. Pour in the peanut butter mixture and combine until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer the granola evenly into a lined with parchment paper 9×13 baking dish, and bake for about 20 minutes, until golden. Stir every five minutes.
- Let the granola cool after removing from oven, to ensure its crunchiness. Store in an airtight container.

Składniki:
- 1/3 szklanki masła orzechowego
- 1/3 szklanki miodu
- 2 ½ szklanki płatków owsianych
- 100 gram nasion słonecznika
- 150 gram rodzynek
- 150 gram nerkowców
- 150 gram orzechów włoskich
Przygotowanie:
- Rozgrzej piekarnik do 160C.
- Wymieszaj w misce masło orzechowe i miód, do uzyskania jednolitej masy.
Przechowuj w szczelnym pojemniku.
I love homemade granola! The stuff in the store often tastes like cardboard and is crazy high in calories! This is a great combination of ingredients.

Greetings and it’s so nice to meet you! Welcome to FF #50 and for some reason I love the idea of a Polish young lady making peanut butter granola in Vietnam! I’ve never made granola with peanut butter but what a great idea. Also your blog is very elegant and beautiful. Looking forward to reading around your blog and I hope you continue to join us on Fridays!
